Privacy and personal data policy

This privacy and personal data protection policy is summarised to better inform you as a customer as to which and how personal data is processed at Noscomed Medical Supply A/S (hereafter Noscomed). Personal data is defined as all data that is personally identifiable. Please read our privacy policy to the end for a clear understanding as to what data we collect, how we collect it and how we protect your data.

The company respects all wishes of confidentiality with regards to personal data that are provided online and are aware of the need for appropriate protection and secure processing of all personal data that we receive.

If the following personal data protection policy cannot be accepted, Noscomed reserves the right to reject orders and other inquiries, as failure to accept may result in Noscomed not being able to service the relationship as otherwise required by applicable law.

Personal data

Personal data covers all data that can be used to identify people, including but not limited to first, middle and last name, age, gender, position, home address or other physical address, e-mail address or other contact details, whether it relates to the private residence or workplace of the person in question.

Likewise, personal data also includes data such as behaviour, purchase history, financial information, etc., all of which are used in maintaining the customer-supplier relationship between customers and Noscomed.

What type of personal data do we collect and process?

You can access www.Noscomed.com without disclosing your personal data to us.

Noscomed needs certain personal data to be able to transact with you and your business, maintain the servicing of the customer relationship, and market products and services. Certain information is also collected and processed in accordance with legal requirements under the Danish Anti-Money Laundering Act and the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

The following information may be collected and processed when you shop at Noscomed:

E-mail address, Clinic name, first and last name, address, telephone number and VAT registration no. When visiting Noscomed.com, technical details (IP addresses included), behaviour (included: visited URL, event triggers, actions such as clicks, open rates, log-in, time spent on each page, etc.) and geographic data may be collected.

Noscomed collects and processes information about you, when you:

  • purchase
  • send queries, complaints and/or interacts with Noscomed in other ways
  • sign up and/or interact with online marketing materials (including but not limited to newsletters, text messages and notifications, advertisements on third-party websites, or the like)
  • provide personal data to Noscomed in other ways

The company collects only the personal data needed to provide a service or product, market services and products, or process inquiries.

Noscomed does not collect and/or purchase personally identifiable data from third parties.

Noscomed uses DIBS to manage online card transactions and does not store payment card information. Please note that when invoicing, billing and banking information is stored in accordance with applicable laws within the area, including the Danish Anti-Money Laundering Act and the Danish Bookkeeping Act.

How is your data used by us?

We may use the data collected in the following ways:

  • To improve www.Noscomed.com and marketing from Noscomed
  • To better serve you when contacting customer service
  • To manage competitions, customer surveys, etc.
  • To be able to handle your orders as quickly as possible
  • For following up on inquiries
  • For general marketing

How do we protect your information?

Our website is continuously scanned for security deficits and weaknesses, so that we can eliminate potential data breaches as quickly as possible and thus make our website as secure as possible. Likewise, malware is scanned for regularly.

Your personal data is stored on secure networks and can only be accessed by a limited number of employees with rights to this type of data. In addition, these are subject to our internal privacy policy, which safeguards your rights and ensures compliance with applicable laws in the field.

Who do we disclose personal data to?

Personal data provided on www.Noscomed.com or via telephone contact is only disclosed to:

  • internal departments
  • trusted third parties, necessary for the fulfilment of agreements on delivery, payment and service including debt collection, and judicial bodies
  • business partners in order to maintain your account and/or marketing.

In order to provide the best possible experience on Noscomed’s websites, we keep statistics on how users utilise the web pages. The statistics are used exclusively in an anonymised form, e.g. to see which pages and content users interact with.

Noscomed uses Google Analytics to gather visitor statistics and, in this connection, pass on IP addresses to Google Analytics. The privacy terms for Google Analytics are accepted when visiting www.Noscomed.com and can be found here:www.google.com/privacy

There is a data processing agreement between the company and all business partners and suppliers, intended for safeguarding the interests of users and customers at all times. These agreements can be presented upon request at any time.

Where is your personal data stored?

Your data is stored on servers at external partners in Denmark. Some personal data is managed by a third party (data processor) who stores and processes personal data on Noscomed’s behalf in accordance with this data protection policy and the applicable legislation on protection of personal data.

When you unsubscribe from marketing issued by Noscomed, all commitments you have made to us will be deleted.

How long is your personal data stored?

In an active customer relationship, your data is stored as long as necessary for us to service you. If the customer relationship is discontinued, your data will be stored for up to one year, depending on the nature of the data.

You can request the access or deletion of your data at any time. Due to other legislation (respectively, Danish Anti-Money Laundering Act and the Danish Bookkeeping Act), all transactional data, including contact details and company information is stored for a required number of years, minimum 5 years.

Personal data that is subject to warranty is stored in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements as well as statutory requirements.

Data breach

We take breaches of both security and data very seriously. In case of suspected data breach of servers under the supervision of external partners, a number of measures are initiated to safeguard our customers and users as best as possible.

This includes, among other things, uncovering of the extent of potential damage, notification to potentially affected customers and users, notification to the Danish Data Protection Agency as well as actions to try to contain the extent of the damage.

Access to data

You can always change your account information and areas of interest, including whether you would like us to contact you in connection with offers of goods or services or unsubscribe from newsletters.

You can have access to what information we have recorded about you.

Please note! Once all data is deleted, they cannot be restored. Data that is required to be stored by law cannot be deleted upon request.

Revision

We review our data processing processes on an ongoing basis. This policy is updated as needed.
